Batangas to Caticlan by Ferry

The first option, which is also the cheapest, is travelling by ferry from Batangas to Caticlan. While the journey may take up 9 to 10 hours, each ferry comes with great accommodations so you can relax on your way to Caticlan Jetty Port.

Of course, these ferry accommodations vary in size and price depending on which vessel is assigned on your travel date. Some rooms are good for one person and filled with hotel-like amenities. Batangas to Caticlan by Land Travel and Ferry

For those who have rented a van or car for their trip around the country, you can go to Caticlan by land and ferry travel. The distance and travel time is similar to a ferry trip, but it will allow you to visit other places along the way.

From Batangas Port, you need to take the RORO (roll-on-roll off) ferry to Calapan Port in Mindoro. Once there, you can take the Western Nautical Highway to Bulalacao Port in the other end of the island. When you get to the Port, take the Bulalacao-Caticlan ferry to Banwa, Aklan. When you get to Banwa, simply take the Western Nautical Highway and drive off to Caticlan Jetty Port.

Batangas to Caticlan by Plane

If you tend to get seasick or in a rush to get to Caticlan, you can take the plane.

Unfortunately, Batangas does not have a local airport that can offer flights to Caticlan. Instead, you will need to drive to Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport. From NAIA, it is a 50 minute trip to Caticlan Airport.

Once you arrive at Caticlan Airport, you can take a tricycle or a van to Caticlan Jetty Port. When you arrive at Caticlan Port, you can take the boats to Boracay arranged by your hotel or those which travel to your hotel’s location. From Caticlan Port, it will only take 10 minutes to get to Boracay.

At Boracay, you can take a tricycle, motorbike or just walk to your hotel. Check with your hotel if they can sort out your transfers so you won’t have problems getting to your hotel.
