How Many Airports are There in Warsaw?
If you are traveling to a new city, that is probably the first question you should consider. In the case of Warsaw, it is important to find out at which airport you are arriving, as there are two airports currently operating commercial fights to the city.
The Warsaw Chopin Airport (IATA: WAW) is the main airport of Warsaw and the biggest in Poland in both passengers and cargo traffic. The Warsaw Modlin (IATA: WMI) is the second international airport serving the city, but with considerably less traffic.
Flying to Warsaw
If you are flying to Warsaw and you still don’t have a ticket you can check get tickets using Jetradar. If you can choose, I strongly advise flying to Warsaw Chopin as its closer to the city center and has better transport links.

How to get from Warsaw Chopin Airport to the city center
The Warsaw Chopin Airport is not so far from the city center (around 10 km). There are pretty good transport links connecting the airport to the city center, and in most cases the travel from and to the airport does not result in delays for your trip.
Warsaw Chopin Airport to the City Center by Car (or Taxi)
One of the best options to get from the Warsaw Airport to the City Center is by car. You can get a taxi right at the terminal, and you can also use your Uber account in Poland, the same way yo do it back home.
The second option is renting a car. There are many companies offering car rentals right at the arrivals floors.

Warsaw Chopin Airport to the City Center by Train
Probably the best and also the cheapest way (together with the bus) to get from the Warsaw Airport to the city center is by train. In the arrivals terminal, there are signs indicating where the trains are, and you will find them without leaving the main airport building.
Trains run at each 30 minutes approximately, and the most central stations are those of the Central Railway Station and Śródmieście. These 2 are pretty close to one another.

Warsaw Chopin Airport to the City Center by Bus
Another option is taking a bus from the Warsaw Chopin Airport to the city center. There are many buses operating from the Warsaw Chopin Airport to the city center. However only 2 routes take you to the most central area of the Polish Capital.
The bus line 175 takes you to the city center (Warsaw Central Train Station), and the night bus line N32 will also take you to the Central Railway Station. The night bus is especially a good option since trains do not operate through the night.

How to get from Warsaw Modlin Airport to the city center
If you are arriving at the Warsaw Modlin airport, your options are quite different than those available at WAW. The airport itself it much further away from the city center, and the options are more limited.
Warsaw Modlin Airport to city center by train
This is probably the most popular and the cheapest option to get from Warsaw Modlin airport to the center of Warsaw, however it can be confusing. In fact you will need to take a bus from the Airport terminal to the Modlin Railway Station. From the Modlin Railway Station there are many trains running to Warsaw Main Station (Dworzec Glowny – Warszawa Centralna).
Warsaw Modlin Airport to city center by direct bus
One option is to use the Modlin bus, which will you take you directly from the airport to the city center in just under one hour. There are also other companies operating from Modlin Airport to other cities not too far from Warsaw.
